If you break it down by the stem of English, it means a different world that transcends time and space as "Meta = transcendent" + "Universe =space".

The goal of the Metaverse is to remove the boundaries between the real world and the virtual world by allowing people to do almost the same things as in the real world across time and space.

The Metaverse has been attracting attention from all over the world in recent years, and it is said that there are business opportunities worth $3 trillion in the market, and famous companies such as Facebook, Nike, and Ralph Lauren entered this metaverse market in recent years.


Metaverse and blockchain 


Metaverse can be divided into those that use blockchain technology and not, but these two technology are deeply connected.

First of all, what is a blockchain?

It is said to be one of the database technologies for recording information.

Transaction history data is managed in units called "blocks", which are linked and stored like "a chain". This is the reason why it is called.

By using a mechanism that prevents data from being rewritten or copied, which is a characteristic of blockchain, the number of things that can be done on the Metaverse has increased dramatically, and the connection with the real world has been strengthened.

For example, by using blockchain technology, it is possible to make things valuable by making it impossible to tamper with the ownership of money and items in the Metaverse.

Also, if it is possible to circulate a crypto currency backed by a blockchain used in the Metaverse, it can be exchanged into money in the real world such as US Dollar or Philippine pesos

Furthermore, using blockchain a technology that proves that there is "only one in the world", values on the avatars, items, and land used on the metaverse will be converted into NFTs, allowing users to freely trade them through the marketplace.
