This time, I would like to share my experience of traveling to Samet Island in Rayong province from Bangkok.
Where is Samet Island ?
Samet Island is a beautiful island located in eastern Thailand. It is known for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it a beloved destination for many tourists. My Thai friend told me that unlike popular tourist spots like Phuket and Pattaya, Samet Island is a well-known resort area among Thai locals however during my visit, I noticed that there were many foreign tourists in the island.
Nuanthip Pier
We took a bus from the Eastern Bus Terminal near BTS Ekkamai Station in Bangkok and arrived at Nuanthip Pier after about three and a half hours. When we walked onto the wooden pier, colorful fabrics decorated the area, and a blue boat was docked. I felt a bit anxious about the age of the boat and whether it would safely get us to the island.
The Luxurious Resort in Samet island
After arriving safely, we headed straight to the resort we had booked. We were astonished by the breathtaking view of the sea and beach from the front desk. The wooden roof and pillars framed the sea and beach like a picture, and the design harmonized beautifully with nature. Luxurious tables and chairs were arranged at the front desk, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. The blue sea and white sandy beach stretched out before us, with small islands dotting the horizon. The resort's front desk symbolized the gateway to paradise, promising a luxurious time ahead.
The Pool
As we walked with the resort staff to our cottage for the night, we noticed a pool along the beach. The pool was surrounded by a wooden deck, equipped with deck chairs and parasols, with the beautiful beach and blue sea as the backdrop.

This resort consists of luxurious cottages that blend harmoniously with nature, each offering a private space. The lush greenery and clear blue sky enveloping the cottages create a paradise-like scene. In front of the cottages lies a stunning beach with fine white sand and emerald-green waters. White Beach
Samet Island's White Beach stands out for its fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. Sitting on a wooden chair lined up on the sandy shore, I quietly admired the serene blue sea. The gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves provided a calming and enjoyable beach stroll, during which we collected beautiful shells.
Relax on Hammock
After a late lunch at the resort's restaurant, we relaxed on hammocks. The gentle sea breeze was soothing, providing a blissful moment of relaxation. In front of us, the blue sea and white sandy beach spread out, with the sound of the waves creating a pleasant background music.
Sunset
The perfect sunset painted the sky, blending golden and orange hues that softly illuminated the beach. The fine white sand glistened under the sunset's glow. The gentle lapping of the waves was like natural music, providing a soothing atmosphere. As the sky gradually darkened and stars began to shine, I sat on a wooden chair on the sandy beach, savoring the magnificent view before me. This special time allowed for complete relaxation and the best possible feelings.
This place truly feels like paradise, offering unforgettable experiences for all who visit. Samet Island is a place of blissful beauty and tranquility, where time seems to stand still, allowing for a perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle.
